Unusual tactile and sound experience, Pause is made up of five hamacs linked together, where the spectator’s body becomes a resonating structure sculpted by continually evolving sound. By using 70 vibrating loudspeakers placed directly on the skin on different parts of the body, the sound transmitted combines touch and listening. Lying down with ear plugs, electronic sounds emerge, the body vibrates, vibrations gently caress the shoulders, hips, fingers and behind the knees, massaging and teasing the senses and ears.
